Are you learning all about the colour green? 
Then, this could be the session for you.

Firstly, that ever popular children's picture book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar written by Eric Carle and published by Picture
Puffin S. demonstrates beautifully how the caterpillar changes from green to a lovely multi coloured butterfly. 

Then we have Handa's Surprise where we can focus on fruit.  Handa is taking a basket of fruit to her friend in the next village and on each page we see a different animal stealing a different piece of fruit.  At the end of this story the children each hold some fruit and decide what colours they are, concentrating on the green ones!

Of course, we will have some singing too; who remembers Ten Green Bottles?
